New Jersey Law charges the state’s Treasury department to work in conjunction with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and the state Department of Military and Veteran Affairs to encourage “opportunities for Veteran-owned businesses in state purchasing and procurement processes.” The law also calls on these departments to “identify strategies to expand the number of veteran-owned businesses interested in and eligible to benefit from state procurement activity.”
