The Finance Authority of Maine may provide special loan insurance to Veterans and wartime veterans for Veteran-owned small businesses. The Authority does not make small business loans, but insures them instead.

To apply for loan insurance, the business owner must provide a copy of their DD214 and contact the authority at the following address:
