As of January, 2013, the Governor of Indiana set a goal of 3% of the state’s competitive purchases from veteran-owned businesses.
To be an Indiana VBE: business must be registered with the VA, be at least 51% owned by one or more veterans. Service disabled VOBs must be at least 51% owned by service-disabled veterans.
After VA certification is complete, register your company with the Indiana Department of Administration.
Indiana grants any wartime veteran with a dishonorable discharge a peddler, vendor, or hawker license free of charge.
